Stand Up Paddleboard Hire Marazion, Penzance and Hayle

At The Hoxton Special you can hire a board for one hour and paddle out into the amazing Mounts Bay. This seems like a short time but trust us it’s plenty.  We have the best view of the Mounts Bay and St Michaels Mount for miles around because of tour central location at the beach.

We are far enough away form the Marazion car park to get away from the major boat traffic. You can feel safe and secure as you paddleboard around looking at all the awesome aquatic life and stunning scenery.

About Mounts Bay – Stand Up Paddleboard Hire Marazion, Penzance and Hayle

90 Minutes of paddling is plenty of time to get around the whole bay. You can head West towards long rock and explore all the amazing underwater wildlife surrounding this natural break water. Or you can head east towards St Michaels Mount. You can paddle around the front of the mount and explore in between the shallows of the causeway and the mount itself.

On a summers day Mounts bay is a crystal clear aquamarine blue/green. Often you can see all the way to the bottom of the sandy bed. There are plenty of marine creatures in mounts bay including crabs, fish, seals and sometimes even a dolphin or two. If you like watching for sea creatures you can always ask to borrow some of our snorkels and dive in to watch the fish.

Most people find 1 hour is more than enough time to get to grips with the board, as a result you can really make the most of your time on the water.

If you have never paddleboarded before we recommend that you take a lesson first. We offer a 2 hour “Ready to Ride” course which takes away all the frustration and trail and error from the learning process.
